Before taking GPAs Next Level Federal Grants Training (NLFGT) course, my approach to federal grants could best be described as the sink or swim method. NLFGT is a year-long training course taught by the federal grant whisperer Cheryl Kester that is designed for both experienced and newbie grants professionals.

Essentially Teresa has a grant readiness audit that is gonna be really useful when assessing stacking yourself up to these respective mistakes that we've talked about today. I know some people, there are federal grant reviewer postings that you can sign up and apply to be, especially in certain topics.

This January, I will be starting my tenth year with the Grant Professionals Association (GPA). It is amazing to me how much growth GPA and the grant profession have had in that short amount of time. The GPA Approved Trainer program will be enhanced to improve the resources available to those who train other grant professionals.
