This past year, I have been diving into my career goals with a renewed focus, and the GrantSummit 2024 was a key step on that path. I was so proud to put on my new name tag and GPC gold pin, a little reminder of goals achieved and those still to tackle. The day’s highlight was an invite-only reception for GPCs, hosted by GPCI.

The goal is to equip nonprofit leaders with the tools, language, and confidence they need to build real, lasting relationships. While I regularly ghostwrite intro emails, prep talking points, and sit in on early funder calls to give clients a confidence boost, I never lead those conversations.

GPCI Competency: 5.8 Similarly, financial reports serve as clear documentation of spending as well as changes to the original budget.
