Planning was overwhelming, but the conference app allowed me to overlap conflicting events, so I could decide later. I felt honored when they invited me to serve as a Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI) Ambassador, which will allow me to encourage and support others on their journey to GPC certification.

I am a proud GPCI board member. Our Chapter is holding its annual conference in a couple of months. Scrolling through the GPA’s website I learned about the Grant Professionals Certification (GPC) offered by the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI). I also attended the exclusive annual GPCI reception for GPCs.

Professional Development: The pinnacle of my grants career came in 2017 when I became credentialed as a GPC through the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI). Every year, I discover new ways to volunteer for GPA and GPCI.
