In 2015, Disney & Pixar released the animated film Inside Out, which was followed by its sequel Inside Out 2 released in 2024. The highs and lows of grant writing, the stress of deadlines, and the joy of securing funding bring forth a mix of feelings. Both have become my favorite animated films of all time.

These posts have benefited an estimated 20 million people in stricken areas like Haiti in 2010 and Nepal in 2015. Since then, there have been more than 6.5 million posts or testimonies on Ushahidi.
