I let the group of 30 or more people know that my grant management job was ending and that I was open to work. At that meeting, a CEO of a local nonprofit approached me, conducted a brief interview, asked me to visit their offices, and shortly thereafter offered me a position as a coordinator of a grant program.

CEUs towards acquiring the GPC (Grant Professional Certified) or maintaining your GPC certification when you complete all seven courses in the Grantegy program.

Since 2006, the Grant Professionals Foundation (GPF) has ensured resources are available to educate, credential, and assist grant professionals who secure the funding necessary for not-for-profits to serve the greater good. For the 2023 GrantSummit, GPF awarded 14 scholarships for grant professionals to attend virtually and in person.

Often, if funding is extremely needed, some entities can be more reserved around submitting collaborative grant proposals. Funders can sniff out desperation in a proposal. Limiting grant involvement.

Despite our best efforts and knowledge, sometimes sabotage can sneak in to derail progress on a project or proposal. This changed the language in other sections we had spent the previous week working on to align throughout the proposal. Bonnie previously served as a member of the GPA and GPCI Board of Directors.
